Wessex Fertility’s Dorset satellite clinic is located at the BWT Physio Clinic in Poole. The clinic is easily accessible and has free parking.
The Poole satellite service is available to self-funding patients and NHS funded patients who find the Poole clinic more convenient to access than Southampton.
Apart from surrogacy patients, you have the same treatment options available as at the Southampton clinic and receive the same first class care.
The following appointments can take place at the satellite:
• Doctor consultation
• Scan appointments
• Consenting appointment
• Pregnancy scans
• Follow-up medical consultation
All patients will have to attend Southampton for their sperm analysis, egg collection and embryo transfer appointments (or insemination if undergoing IUI). Some patients may also require additional procedures (e.g. cyst aspiration, sperm freeze, surgical sperm retrieval) which can only be done at the main clinic in Southampton.
The aim of the satellite service is to make treatment more convenient for you. Our Poole satellite is run by Dr Catherine Pappin, an experience Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and supported by Jo Brooks, a Fertility Services Co-ordinator; the clinic is also staffed by highly experienced nurses. Both team members work closely with Southampton, ensuring good communication and an excellent standard of compassionate care. Appointments are conducted in line with Southampton’s protocols and all scan and blood test results are sent to the main clinic so the decisions made about your treatment our chances of success are the same whether you choose to have your appointments in Poole or Southampton.
Please call our Southampton clinic if you would like an appointment in Poole. Phone 023 80706000 to book a consultation. Or email email@example.com.
“It was such a great facility to have, it was so convenient to just pop there after work and Catherine was so good and on the same wave length as us. From our very first appointment we felt so much more positive, everyone is so relaxed and it really feels like they are rooting for you. We looked forward to our appointments and starting IVF as it felt like moving forward to finally becoming parents which has always been our dream.”
